Lacunes

Fleur Strijbos & Babette Craens

Lacunes is the debut album of soprano Fleur Strijbos and pianist Babette Craens. At its heart lies Robert Schumann’s Sechs Gedichte von Nikolaus Lenau und Requiem, a cycle steeped in longing, fragility, and inner searching.

From this core unfolds a musical journey through song, with works by Webern, Strauss, Barber, and contemporary Belgian composers — a programme shaped by silence, memory, and what remains unsaid.

Serenades of Spain

Emma Wills, Octavie Dostaler-Lalonde & Fleur Strijbos

Serenades of Spain explores the deep bond between Spain and the guitar. Moving beyond cliché, the album reveals a rich musical landscape through three guitars — baroque, romantic, and classical — in solo works and chamber music with voice and cello.

With music by Spanish composers and others inspired by Spain, the programme moves through Renaissance court music, Baroque dance, romantic expression, impressionistic colour, and folklore — a vibrant mosaic of Spain’s musical history.
