Lacunes

Lacunes is the debut album of soprano Fleur Strijbos, SWUK Vlaanderen Laureate 2026, together with pianist Babette Craens.

At its heart lies Robert Schumann’s Sechs Gedichte von Nikolaus Lenau und Requiem, a song cycle steeped in longing, fragility, and inner searching. From this core unfolds a rich and varied musical journey, featuring songs by Webern, Strauss, Barber, and beyond, with a special focus on contemporary Belgian composers.
